Patricia has a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an Executive Master in Tourism Business Management from the EOI (School of Industrial Organization). She was General Manager of the Tourism Technology Center of the Andrés Bello University, CETUR UNAB, during the years 2019-2020, focused on supporting the digitization of tourism SMEs, advising more than 400 companies. For 12 years she was director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Area of ​​the Hotel Technological Institute (ITH) and Coordinator of the Tourism Technology Platform (Thinktur) of Spain. There he was in charge of the analysis of trends, technological foresight, the promotion of entrepreneurship and the management of R + D + i projects, and participated in various committees and working groups related to technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Prior to his work at ITH, he was responsible for sectoral projects at SEGITTUR (State Mercantile Society for the Management of Innovation and Tourism Technologies, dependent on the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda of Spain) and responsible for the SME Area in the State Society of Transition to the Euro. She was also coordinator and teacher of master’s degrees in hotel management and tourism and tourism innovation in different schools and universities, as well as a regular speaker at some of the main tourism technology and innovation congresses. Likewise, she has been the author of reference studies and reports in the sector in Spain, such as the “Diagnosis on Digital Transformation in the Hotel Sector (HotelGen 4.0)”, the “Study on the Perception and Use of Technology by the Client in the Hotel Sector (Client 4.0) ”, the“ Strategic Agenda for Innovation in the Tourism Sector ”, and the Ebook on Smart Data, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Blockchain, among others.
