The Great Resignation and its Impact on the Tourism Sector, the different Leaderships in times of change, Reconquering and Motivating the Spirit of Employees, Training and the Expectations of the Different Generations or the Role of Innovation and Technology, among others.

In this third edition, the Fitur Talent Forum will analyze the situation and management of talent in organizations and companies in two unprecedented years, marked by the paralysis caused by Covid-19 and the necessary reactivation. The flight of talent from the sector, the “Silver” talent, the new strategies of motivation and remuneration of employees are some of the topics that will be discussed during these days of Forum.
The program will feature the main players in the tourism and talent sector and will be based on 3 main themes: “The (re)Generation of Tourism Talent: Creating a New Culture”, “Reconquering and Motivating the Spirit of Employees” and “Specialized Training”.
UNWTO will present its education strategy, through the UNWTO Academy, and present the winners of its Innovation Challenge in its orientation towards the world of tourism startups, job creators and managers of new talent around the world.
The block led by the WTTC (World Travel & Tourism Council) will analyze the role of Human Resources in the tourism sector: leadership, talent retention, access to management positions, equal pay and opportunities and the role of talent in exile. This block will be attended by international experts, company executives and representatives of the European Union, among others.
In this third edition, FITUR TALENT has the special collaboration of the World Tourism Organization, World Travel & Tourism Council, Meliá Hotels International, TURIJOBS, HECANSA (Hoteles Escuela de Canarias), NEXIAN and DPersonas, among others. Through these and other companies and institutions, the different current issues in the sector linked to people management will be analyzed: the new profiles needed in the sector will be defined, the place of the Academy in tourism, the new training offer to attract a new demand, technologies for management and 24/7 training, as well as a space dedicated to training in wine tourism experiences.
In addition, this year the traditional “FITUR TALENT CHALLENGES” have been re-launched. This space will take place in the Talent Forum on Friday afternoon and will showcase the solutions to the challenges posed by Meliá Hotels International, HECANSA and the Santander City Council.
During the afternoon, the projects of the pre-selected universities and training centers will present their solutions to a jury. Then, on the same stage, the jury will decide the result and announce the winning teams, one for each challenge.
Finally, Saturday will feature the “TURIJOBS Talent Meet-Up”, where you can find tips to improve your CV and pass job interviews successfully (Saturday), and on Sunday, with the help of ESIC Business School, orientation to innovative training programs to improve your knowledge and skills.

FITUR TALENT 2021: Keys for the Recovery of Tourism Employment (from May 19 to 23 at IFEMA, Madrid)
In 2021, FITUR, the leading International Tourism Fair in the sector, dedicates the FITUR TALENT space to learning about the situation and the management of talent in organizations and companies in an unprecedented year, marked by the global pandemic caused by Covid -19.
FITUR TALENT will count the days of meetings between professionals (Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 May) with experts from different fields, who will debate and share with all of us what they experienced in the COVID year. As well as the challenges that destinations, companies and professionals will face in the coming years.
Likewise, it will have spaces dedicated to employment, entrepreneurship or training and will present initiatives, projects, reports and studies that will show, on the one hand, what has happened so far in the sector and, on the other, what is to come.
On Open days (Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May), FITUR TALENT will dedicate its space to employment and training, becoming a meeting between companies in search of the best talent and training centers, which will publicize its newest content.
